Christmas Chaos!

I cannot wait for Christmas to be here.  I feel like there are weeks spent on preparations and then Christmas day itself goes by in an instant.  AJ was so little last Christmas and we were still in the depths of sleep deprivation I can hardly remember it.  I want this Christmas to make up for it. 
I bring all this stress on myself.  I have spent 3 days trying to look for Christmas pjs for him, its not even for him.  its more for me, I just want every little detail covered! 

Two days in a row...

I am very impressed with myself for carving out the time to write again today.  I really want to stick with this.  Its part of my early new  years resolution to take better care of myself.  I started with weight watchers, now I want to be a blogger!! 
Today was pretty great, we are finally making some serious progress on the new play room.  I cannot wait for aj to have his own space, besides his bedroom.  I want to make it a really fun room for him, now and when he is older.  I am going to by chalk board paint and magnetic paint and make two walls for him to be creative on.  Maybe if I give him a space to be creative he wont color on the living room walls. 
Tomorrows goal is to get more Christmas shopping done!!  I need to get in the Christmas spirit. 

First Post!!

Here goes nothing...

I have wanted to start a blog since my son was born (14 months ago) but like many new moms know there is barely enough time to get the stuff done that needs to get done in a day, let alone free time to blog.  But I wanted to start taking a few minutes a day after AJ goes to bed to take some time for me.  I hope this is a great way for me to unwind from my day and have a record of what my life was like with my awesome son!
And this is a great  way to share some of the things I have learned.
